[TRISKELION] How the game works (rankings – scores – lessons)

Video Lessons #

The video lessons are a set of videos that complement the game’s main content and help further immerse you in the story. It’s a more interactive and dynamic way to apply the methods and techniques you’ve learned throughout the game.

To see the video lessons, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the phone symbol that appears at the bottom left of the screen (you can access your phone as long as you are not in “adventure mode”*).

Screenshot 2024-01-11 at 15.22.48.png

  1. Click on the “Lesson video” button.
  2. Choose the video lesson you want to watch.

Please note that the video lessons will be available starting from the second round. However, keep in mind that the introductory videos of the game can only be viewed while playing, as they are not part of the video lessons.

🔎 *“Adventure mode” refers to the parts of the game where you watch video lessons, take part in mini-games, or interact with the characters in conversations.

Note: video collections are part of the Triskelion graphich adventure and can only be consulted while the access to the game is active. After you access ends, and if you finished the course, you can still see and download the lessons and readings in the “content book,” available in My progress” on your Campus.

Scoring #

During the course, you’ll have to solve a series of interactive activities to move the story forward.

You’ll gain points as you make the correct decisions regarding time management and task prioritization—managing your email inbox properly, making sure each type of task is being taken care of, etc.

At the end of the virtual day (shift) you will receive a feedback which includes:

  • In green points earned for correctly performing certain actions
  • In red the points you have not earned for not having completed the actions correctly (no points are deducted).
  • The penalties you incurred for clicking on “hint”(-1) or “solution”(-3) when completing the interactive exercises, or for getting certain questions wrong.

Keep in mind that, in Triskelion, you don’t lose points, you only incur “penalties,” which are tiebreaker points. Essentially, if two people have the same score, the one with fewer penalties will be ranked higher.

Recommendation: check your in-game phone every day. In the “Achievements” tab, you will find a summary of all the activities and tasks that will allow you to score points throughout the day.

The energy and stress bars #

Your energy level is directly related to your stress level. If you’re under a lot of stress, you’ll see that your energy bar has an orange area that’s impacted by stress.

To reduce your stress percentage and increase your energy, we recommend clicking on the coffee cup in the upper right part of your screen. You will be able to use 30 minutes of your time to do this and then continue completing other tasks.

Screenshot 2024-01-11 at 11.55.18.png

If you don’t see the cup in your “agenda,” try adjusting your screen’s zoom.

Leaderboard #

The criteria for the Triskelion leaderboard is as follows:

  • Total points (the higher, the better).
  • Penalties (the fewer, the better).
  • Turn (the further along in the game you are, the higher you’ll be).

Note: keep in mind that, during the game, the leaderboard will only reflect the teammates’s progress at your current level (to compare positions).

Puzzles #

Triskelion is a game of exploration, intrigue, and investigation. We won’t give you all the information you need to progress. You’ll have to be a detective and look for clues on your own (on the internet, for example).

However, if you need to, you can use the “Solve” button to skip a challenge for a small penalty.

Criptex #

In order to open the cryptex, you will have to take into account the following information: the correct answer is the number Pi, but you will have to round the figure to give an exact figure.

Click on each of the boxes and move them up or down to rotate the numbers.

Screenshot 2024-01-11 at 11.55.32.png

If you can’t open it, you can click on the “Solution” button found at the bottom right (this will allow you to continue playing for a small penalty).
