To get the most out of this learning experience, it is essential to understand the function of each on-screen button. Here you have an overview of the main buttons in Pacific:
-
Energy: is used up by executing tasks, actions, and unlocking readings. It is recovered by moving from day to day.

-
Virtual days: the icon of the calendar which tells you how many days you’ve been on the island. Your goal is to build the balloon with as many leadership points as possible.

-
Synergy level: you increase this by performing team actions (defining objectives and rules, doing team-building, resolving conflicts, and developing processes). More synergy means better performance from your team and tasks executed in less time.

-
Leadership points: the icon torch. You earn leadership points by correctly managing your team and developing your skills through the skills map (“mind” button).

-
Balloon progress: indicates your progress in balloon construction as a %. Remember that your objective is to construct a balloon to get off the island.

-
Menu: the three bars on the right side of the screen. These let you display the main menu. From this menu you can also change the language, sound effects, and music. You can also tell networks you are playing the game, access extra content, and exit the game.

-
Help [?]: on the left, you have direct access to the general help, FAQS, tips about the game, and the contact with your tutor. You can also access the screen elements. For more information, you can check this article.

Note: you will be able to use these buttons freely after you have completed the Pacific tutorial, corresponding to the first virtual day in the game.
