How can I increase my population? #
To increase your population, it’s essential to generate housing so that they have a place to live. To do so, go to the ‘Build’ menu and buy residential buildings.
However, this is not enough: your population will only increase if, in addition to housing, they also have food and energy. To do this, you’ll need to build agricultural and energy buildings that supply the population.

Keep in mind that your population will be as high as the lowest individual value of housing, food, or energy. In other words, your population won’t increase if it has nowhere to live and cannot provide for itself.
What can I do if my population does not increase? #
There are two reasons why your population may have stopped growing:
- You have more housing than food or energy. Your population will be as high as the lowest value of housing, food or energy. For more information, see the entry above.

- The current pollution is above the threshold on the pollution meter. When the pollution is within the black or maroon segment, it means that it is so high that it is impossible to attract new population to your city.
