The Campus leaderboard

Features of the leaderboard and how it works #

Prerequisites #

Your company must have the leaderboard option enabled.

How it works

The leaderboard system of the Campus is made up of two parts: a general leaderboard and a partial leaderboard of your company.

When you log in for the first time during the competition month and start a game or finish an existing game, you will be part of a leaderboard with up to 5 other students. Students start off the month’s partial ranking with 0 points (if you start a game in that month) or with the points gained for completing a game (if you finish a game in that month). At the beginning, the first student to log on will appear first, then the second, etc.

The partial leaderboard competitions last one calendar month. To this leaderboard, points earned during the month in which courses are completed will be added to the monthly total (as points are gained, they will be added to the current general leaderboard). Afterwards, points gained for reaching a podium will be added to the general leaderboard and updated at the end of each month.

Display of the ranking #

In the “Leaderboards” section, you’ll be able to see where you land on the general leaderboards as well as the number of courses you’ve completed, the monthly competitions in which you finished in the top three, and your total points.

When a new month begins and the previous month’s monthly competition has ended, you will be informed of how many points you gained and where you finished on the monthly leaderboard.

Ranking order criteria ranking #

Students can earn points in two different ways: according to the number of courses completed and according to their position on the leaderboard.

Students can earn points as they complete courses. Each completed course is scored according to its duration (the more hours, the higher the score). 10 points will be awarded per estimated hour of duration of each course.

At the end of the month, points will be awarded to those students who have finished in the top positions in the ranking of their competition and have more than 0 points:

  • 1st place: 50 points
  • 2nd place: 30 points
  • 3rd place: 5 points

As students gain points, these will also appear on the general leaderboard, an area where they can also see where their colleagues stand.

Note: points earned in a learning pathway will be added to the leaderboard only after all courses in it have been completed.
